Making some Christmas or birthday wrap is a great ‘slowie’ to have up your sleeve. This evening we made reams and reams of the stuff in readiness for Christmas wrapping ( 6 weeks 6 days to go everyone!!!!!) We usually use brown parcel wrap and then heaps of red, green and white paint as these are the main colours of the season and show up nicely on the brown paper. If we’re feeling particularly crazy we might even get the glitter out, depends on how brave I’m feeling. The children either paint free hand or we potato print onto the paper or we use palm printers. It’s so much fun. In the past we’ve done stars, holly, baubles, dots and crosses. Once printed, we just need to find a surface big enough to dry it all on and then 24 hours later we’re ready to wrap. It’s brilliant. Personalised wrapping paper always goes down a treat and is such a joy to receive. Grandparents especially love it and the children love doing it! So don’t delay, start making your wrapping paper today!
P.S. Baker Ross do a great line in palm printers. The Christmas ones are gorgeous and always come up well on the brown paper. Happy printing x
