Hit the book shop

If you’re stuck for something to do on a rainy day this is a great ‘slowie’, hit the book shop and whatever you do, don’t be afraid to have a good look around. Most book shops seem quite happy to have young readers come along and effectively  ‘try before they buy’ these days and we definitely make the most of it. Going to a book shop is a great way to keep up to date with the latest literature and it’s fabulous experience for the kids too, being surrounded by so many colourful and interesting books. It’s where a life long love of books can begin. Our local Waterstones also often has children’s activities organised so it’s a double bonus heading on in. Here’s a particularly good book we came across recently that we bought and brought home and it’s been a complete winner ever since.

It’s great to share and there’s so much to talk about. It’s sister book ‘You choose’ is also a corker. Get yourself down the book shop today if only to read these two. Have fun!
