This is definitely my/our seasonal ‘signature’ bake (call me Mary Berry!!) and they’re so easy and so delicious to do. Kids can help every step of the way from purchasing the ingredients to rolling out the puff, placing out the sausage meat, rolling, cutting, pricking and glazing too. Once out of the oven they don’t hang around long and taste very nice with a sherry don’t you know. Simple recipe attached. My top slow mum tip would be to hang out for some good quality sausage meat. That’s the difference between a good sausage roll and a great sausage roll!! Enjoy!
