Paper plate weaving

This was fabulous fun today and all my daughter’s idea after seeing the project in one of her craft books from Christmas (‘Mummy & Me craft- DK).  It took a bit of adult input to start with but once up and running this turned into a very successful ‘slowie’. All you need is a paper plate and some scraps of wool, ribbon and string. You divide the plate into 16 equal segments, cut 16 triangle shapes around the edge, make a hole in the middle of the plate and then thread the wool up and over 16 times to make your loom. Tie two of the strands together to make 15 segments and you’re ready to start weaving. A complete winner!!

Did my explanation make sense? If not catch a similar design here………….HAPPY WEAVING EVERYONE!!!
