Crush some biscuits and make a cake

My two love crushing biscuits. Think it’s something to do with getting to go a bit crazy with my rolling pin to be honest!!!!! I give them a little bag of digestives each, tie the top and let them go for it. If you haven’t got a rolling pin a spoon will do! You can use the biscuits crumbs on the top of yoghurt or jelly but our favourite thing is to make these delicious chocolate biscuit squares. Yum !!!! Slow mum approved !!!

100g digestive biscuits

100g ginger biscuits

150g milk chocolate

100g plain chocolate

85g golden syrup

85g unsalted butter

100g chopped apricots

50g raisins

40g rice krispies

Line and grease a 20cm square tin, crush the biscuits then melt the chocolate, syrup and butter. Stir in everything and then press the mixture down in the tin. Put in the fridge to set and then cut into squares before serving. Xxx
